Are you on the lookout for a great local antenatal course to attend with your partner? Sometimes when there are too many decisions to make and options to choose from, it can start to feel a bit overwhelming and we can end up putting it off for a while longer... am I right? If that sounds like you, I'm glad you're here! You've landed on the right blog post :-)
I've had the pleasure of photographing many families who have attended antenatal classes at the Birth and Baby Space, and they can't speak highly enough of their experience with Lisa! That's why I can always confidently recommend Lisa to anyone expecting a baby, whether it's friends/family or a maternity client, knowing that they'll be very well taken care of.
The lovely Lisa runs her Birth and Baby Space classes right in the centre of Glasgow. This really is the place to be to prepare not only for birth, but parenthood as well! Lisa is a highly qualified NCT practitioner who believes that every expectant parent should have access to high quality, evidence-based information about birth and early parenthood. She is extremely passionate about what she does!
So what exactly goes on at the Birth and Baby Space? Well, Lisa’s group antenatal courses prepare you for meeting your baby, inform you about what to expect in labour and all types of birth, and discuss what you and your partner can do to make your birth a positive experience! You’ll practice essential baby care such as changing nappies, bathing, feeding, what to do with crying babies and you’ll also find out about newborn baby sleep patterns.

Lisa aims to give you the knowledge and tools to make your own informed decisions about birth and parenthood. There is no judgement here, only support in gaining the confidence to follow your own path, whatever that looks like for you! You will be supported from the moment classes begin and all through those daunting first months of parenthood.
All antenatal courses are LIVE, practical, interactive, informative, personal and most of all FUN! They are a fantastic opportunity to meet other local parents-to-be and build lasting friendships too. Lisa’s classes are accessible for all with evening or weekend availability which is definitely a bonus!
If group classes aren’t for you then one-to-one workshops are also available! Maybe you have a more complex pregnancy or have given birth before but would like to have a more positive experience this time round – Lisa can provide you with all the information you need tailored to your individual circumstances. One-to-one workshops are delivered either online or an in-person home visit.
