Every so often I like to take some time to showcase some local maternity & baby businesses because I know many of my followers are either new mums or mums-to-be! If you’re pregnant in Glasgow, you’re going to love this one :-)
A new baby scan clinic, ‘First Glimpse Baby Scan’ has opened in Shawlands, the heart of Glasgow’s southside! First Glimpse offers a wide range of 2D, 3D, 4D and HD Live scans. These are not designed to replace your routine hospital scan appointments, but instead for reassurance and some bonding time with your unborn baby.
Gender reveal and wellbeing checks are also offered from 16 weeks and gender reveal balloons or cannons are available too! At First Glimpse Baby Scan, top of the range equipment is used and the most advanced technology provides excellent image quality and incredibly realistic views of your baby.
First Glimpse is run by the lovely Lorraine Gibson who is a Midwife Sonographer with over 20 years of midwifery experience and has been a registered practising sonographer for 8 years. I really can’t speak highly enough of Lorraine and anyone that she has scanned will say the same. She is so kind, caring, empathic and she's passionate about delivering the best quality care and a magical scan experience! Lorraine goes above and beyond to make sure you receive first-class service and leave with the best images of your little one.
And if that wasn’t enough to tempt you along to the clinic… there is also an amazing fish tank to observe while you wait! Mesmerising for the adults and a magnet for the kids ;-) The reception area also features a gorgeous range of baby and mum-to-be gifts to browse, and even showcases some maternity & newborn photography from yours truly!
